Gerda and Jürgen are hit by the pandemic on the high seas. In the next port, all passengers on the cruise ship have to be quarantined because one passenger has fallen ill. The couple is suddenly confronted with the dramatic news in the media, the hopelessness on the ship and the seductive conspiracy theories on the Internet. This puts their decades-long, well-oiled relationship to the test.
